1. Our working relationship will last until you decide to not continue. I can end the working relationship if:

i. payments are delayed or non-existent,
ii. you develop a pattern of late arrival to sessions,
iii. you are unwilling to cooperate, disagree with my tools/methods and/or if I see it as advantageous for both parties, in which case I will offer suggestions for a referral.

2. The duration of each session will depend on the type of session you booked. If you are more than 10 minutes late the session will be cancelled. You will not be able to get a refund. If you are less than 10 minutes late, I will see you for the remaining time of the session but will be unable to work beyond the allotted time. You are not eligible for a refund if you decide to end the session early.

3. It is understood that sometimes sudden events, such as emergencies, happen, that may make it necessary for you to cancel the appointment last minute, or fail to attend and are unable to provide notification. If you fail to give less than 24 hours’ notice of your intention to cancel or postpone an agreed therapy session, I reserve the right to charge in full for that session. If you no longer want to continue a pre-paid offer such as a session bundle, course etc., you are not eligible for a refund of the remaining offer. Wrongful purchase/payment is not eligible for a refund (be intentional when purchasing our offers).

4. The cost for each session will differ depending on the type of session you book. Prices can be found at https://calendly.com/gunhildarcher

Payments are made by the use of Stripe upon booking.

5. To ensure an ethical and professional service, I may discuss your case in supervision but would not use any identifying details.

6. If any of us want to record a session, we will have a conversation to ensure that we agree on how the recording can be used and stored.

7. Confidentiality will be maintained within the codes of ethics and legal requirements. Confidentiality does not apply where it would mean that I, as your therapist, will break the law by withholding information. Confidentiality may be breached if I consider there is a risk you may harm yourself or others. In such event I will inform you about my decision before making it.

8. Our relationship remains professional during therapy. After therapy has ended, the relationship can be subject to change.

9. Notes may be taken during a session and will be kept in your personal file. The intention of taking notes is to keep track of progress. Notes will be securely stored. I will discuss the disposal, retention or otherwise of any such notes at the end of our engagement. If you have questions about information stored in your personal file, I will provide you with the information on request. If you, for any reason, decide that I should refrain from taking and/or storing notes, it will be noted in your journal. From that moment on, I will refrain from taking notes.

10. If agreed payments are not forthcoming, I reserve the right to cancel future sessions until the missing amount is paid in full.

11. The work we are going to do can at times be demanding, frustrating, and emotional. You may at times find this process challenging and feel the need to end therapy. If you feel unhappy with any aspects of the treatment being offered, please try to communicate this verbally. This gives us both the chance to address and resolve engagement issues. I will ask for feedback regularly to ensure that I am providing the service you need. In the normal course of events, you will know when you are ready to finish therapy, and we will agree together on the work we need to do to prepare for this.

12. I will not suddenly or without warning terminate our contract, except in exceptional circumstances such as threats, acts of violence or extreme boundary violations. I will communicate the termination of our contract beforehand. This would be fully discussed at that time. Sessions will not take place if you come to sessions under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed medication.

13. You will be notified of any holidays through my social media platforms and/or web page. However, there may be occasions when I need to cancel sessions due to illness. I will give you as much notice as possible of any cancellation and will be forthcoming to reschedule when I am back to my normal health. Please notify any change in contact details to ensure that I can reach you in such circumstances.

14. Unless otherwise agreed, journal notes will be stored for 10 years. Information (name, address, phone number etc.) requested during booking is stored according to the booking company’s data storage policies.

15. All offers, gift cards and/or free offers must be used within 3 months unless otherwise is specified.
